Something I do a lot with art that has lineart is I’ll put all of the flat colors in separate layers, and then each one will get it’s own clipping group layer where I can shade/highlight without disturbing the other colors or escaping the lines. Thus, you can put two layers in a clipping group, in a file that is in a clipping group itself. SAI will start without setup process from the second time.
